This basement included a host of custom features. The homeowners are sports fanatics, with a large and varied collection of sports memorabilia. We designed a series of built-in lighted display cases to let them display their collection. We made extensive use of halogen spot lighting to highlight the many framed items they wished to display on the walls.

The owners like to entertain, so we designed and built the ultimate party basement, including a home theater with an overflow seating bar, a billiards area with another bar, and a large main bar with its own TV system. A full bath was also installed to eliminate the need to run up and down the stairs!

The Home Theater features a raised mahogany floor, with Clark Synthesis tactile transducers mounted underneath. This makes the whole room become a part of the theater sound system. Custom crafted furniture, designed by us, includes the TV/Component stand and rolling platforms for the owner's stadium seats. The three bars in the room are all built of birch and mahogany, topped with hand-finished concrete countertops.
